Adoptable Cats and Kittens
Why Adopt from Us?
All cats are vetted, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and socialized
You can meet and spend time with them in a real-life environment before committing
We specialize in bonded pairs, seniors, and shy cats that truly blossom in homes
Our adoption counselors help ensure great matches - not just fast ones
The cats shown below are all currently adoptable, but their status can change quickly from ‘single and looking’ to ‘in a serious relationship.’ Feel free to email or call us to confirm a certain cat, or kitten is still available for adoption. support@kitteasf.org or (415) 325-5510
You MUST meet the cat(s) IRL (in real life), before being considered as their forever human. A cat can be very cute in their photos, but some can be really good with photoshop and deceive you. Don’t get cat fished! ;)
Please note that at this time, we are only able to adopt to US Citizens and we reserve the right to turn down an applicant for any reason deemed necessary. Thank mew in advance for understanding.
By booking a reservation in our Cat Lounge, you will get to know the cat/kitten before making any forever decisions, which will overall benefit both you and the cat(s) you are considering to adopt.
Steps to Adopt:
Have everyone in your home meet the cat(s)/kitten(s) in our cat lounge. We highly advise you make an advanced reservation.
Fill meowt our adoption application
If your application is approved, you will receive an email from us with the good news within 2-3 business days! From there, we will have you pay via credit card through a secured payment link and have you sign our adoption agreements.
You choose the day and time during KitTea business hours to pick-up and take home your new best fur friend (BFF).
Adoptable Kittens
We typically require our adoptable kittens to go home in pairs, or to families that already have cats similar in age to our kittens.
Please note: Cats with “pending adoption” next to their name may already have a furrever home lined up, feel free to check in with your cat wrangler or host for any updates.
Lin
Age: about 9 months old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, calico
Health: Female (spayed)
Lin is Toph’s daughter as well as Su’s sister. She spends most of her day napping with her mama, or wrestling with her sister. Lin is very bonded to her mom Toph, so we would prefurr to keep the two together as a pair.
Lin is only available for adoption as a bonded pair with her mama, Toph. She is not adoptable as a single cat.
♥ Lin and your local wildlife will be safest if she is an indoors-only kitty.
Su
Age: about 9 months old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, calico
Health: Female (spayed)
Su (short for Suyin) is a playful and very adventurous kitten! When she isn’t tackling and chasing her sister Lin around the lounge, she can be found napping in a cozy bed, sometimes meowing in demand of pets and affection. Su is a very friendly and sweet girl that would be the purrfect addition to any home with other young cats.
Su would do best in a home with another cat (or cats) close to her in age.
♥ Su and your local wildlife will be safest if she is an indoors-only kitty.
Adoptable Adult & Senior Cats
Adults and Seniors need love too and make some of the meowst ameowzing companions!
Please note: Cats with “pending adoption” next to their name may already have a furrever home lined up, feel free to check in with your cat wrangler or host for any updates.
Cleo
Age: unknown
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair
Health: Female (spayed)
Cleo is a very sweet and friendly girl. Though she was pretty shy when she first came, Cleo has settled in well to the back of the cat lounge. She prefers a more quiet environment and loves getting pets, attention, and playtime from people. She would do well in a home that is calm and patient so she can gradually open up and feel comfortable in her forever home.
♥ Cleo and your local wildlife will be safest if she is an indoors-only kitty.
Tucker
Age: unknown
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair
Health: Male (neutered)
Tucker is a very sweet and mellow guy. He is still a bit new to the lounge, and is tentative about sharing his space with our other rescue kitties. He loves getting pets and attention from people, however, so we’re certain with a little more time he’ll settle into the lounge. Tucker was a rescue from off the streets, but he hasn’t let that stop him from enjoying a comfy indoor life (lots of love and treats don’t hurt, either).
♥ Tucker and your local wildlife will be safest if he is an indoors-only kitty.
Mr. Kitty
Age: about two years old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, tabby
Health: Male (neutered)
Mr. Kitty is a charming, active, and very friendly little guy. He prefurrs the company of people over that of other cats, so he is looking for a home where he can be the only-child, spoiled and happy with plenty of attention, enrichment, and love. Mr. Kitty enjoys gentle head pets and feather wand toys, and can be vocal when he is waiting for food/affection. We are hoping to find a calm, patient home that is willing to give him some time to settle in and get to know his new family.
♥ Mr. Kitty and your local wildlife will be safest if he is an indoors-only kitty.
Toph
Age: about 3 years old
Breed/Coat: domestic mediumhair
Health: Female (spayed)
Toph is the mother of our two youngest kittens, Lin and Su. She is a total sweetheart and loves getting pets and affection from guests. She’s not the biggest fan of the other cats in the lounge, however, and lets them all know she needs her space with a protective growl. Toph loves her babies, and isn’t above roughhousing with them a little when they need to be reminded of who’s really in charge. She can often be found napping with and grooming her daughters.
Toph is only available for adoption as part of a pair with her daughter, Lin. She is not adoptable as as single cat.
♥ Toph and your local wildlife will be safest if she is an indoors-only kitty.
Oliver
Age: unknown
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, tabby
Health: Male (neutered)
Oliver is a super friendly and playful young cat. He can be a little bitey at times, and though it isn’t out of aggression, potential adopters should be aware of this. Most often Oliver just wants to play, either with toys or with the other cats. He can sometimes play a little too rough with the kittens, but never hurts them. Oliver would do best in an attentive home that can give him plenty of playtime and enrichment, and he may also benefit from having a cat similar in age to play with and cuddle with.
♥ Oliver and your local wildlife will be safest if he is an indoors-only kitty.
Winston
Age: two years old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, tabby
Health: Male (neutered)
Winston is an adorable, playful, and rather mischievous kitty. He came all the way from Qatar just to sneak bites of humans foods and meow endlessly for attention, and we’re so happy he did! He is overall very mellow during the day, often napping and perking up only when he thinks he hears someone says “treats”.
♥ Winston and your local wildlife will be safest if he is an indoors-only kitty.
Peaches
Age: two years old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair
Health: Female (spayed)
Peaches is a rather vocal and chatty kitty! She prefers to keep her distance from other cats as she often feels she is the star of the show in the cat lounge. Though she has moments where she’s a bit sassy, once she gets to know you, Peaches is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She would do best in home where she is an only child and does not have to share her space with other felines.
♥ Peaches and your local wildlife will be safest if she is an indoors-only kitty.
Onyx
Age: about 1 year old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, black
Health: Male (neutered)
Onyx is an incredibly sweet and curious guy. He is still exploring the cat lounge and getting comfy, but is very confident around new people. He will often rub up against guests’ legs for some affection, and usually won’t turn down a good chin scratch.
♥ Onyx and your local wildlife will be safest if she is an indoors-only kitty.

Marco Oreo
Age: unknown
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair
Health: Male (neutered)
“Meet Marco Oreo – a gentle, resilient soul who has survived outdoors for over five years. This sweet boy has lived on the streets far too long, and despite the hardships, he has remained kind and trusting at heart hoping for a home of his own.
The first time he showed up at my door, he was starving and scruffy and had a leg injury. I went to go trap him but something happened when he went in the trap the trap closed, and he wasn't in it.It has taken me nearly a year to trap train him.
A neighbor agreed to take Marco Oreo in then she backed out which is why I am now looking for a new home for him.
In the past year alone, he has endured two leg injuries, and a URI a painful reminder that the streets are no place for a cat with so much love to give.
He is shy, but sweet, and while he may never be a lap cat, Marco Oreo has a quiet gratitude about him that shines through when given gentle care.
What he needs most is:
💙 A big-hearted person or family willing to open their heart and home to him.
💙 A safe space indoors, or perhaps an outdoor catio/enclosure where he is safe and can enjoy fresh air without risk of escape or having to watch out for predators.
💙 Patience, time, and a lot of love and that space to allow him to heal, both physically and emotionally.
Marco Oreo doesn’t ask for much—just safety, kindness, and a forever home where he will no longer have to fight for survival on the streets.
In return, he will gift you the joy of watching a once-forgotten street cat finally experience comfort and love.
🐾 If you have room in your heart and home for this special boy, please reach out. Marco Oreo deserves his chance at a happy ending. 🐾”
♥ Marco Oreo and your local wildlife will be safest if he is an indoors-only kitty.
Big Boy
Age: estimated 15+ years old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, black and white
Health: Male
“Big Boy is a 15+ year-old cat who has spent his life surviving the dangerous streets of a tough neighborhood. Despite everything, he is one of the sweetest, most gentle souls you will ever meet.
Sadly, his age has caught up with him — he now has dementia and limited sight, and every day he remains outside, he risks being hit by cars.
What Big Boy wants more than anything is simple: a safe, loving home where he can finally rest. He just wants to be petted, snuggled, and cherished in his golden years. After a lifetime of cruelty trauma and struggle, he deserves to know comfort and love.
If you are that special person who can open your heart and home to him, please reach out. Giving Big Boy a chance means giving him a life without fear, cruelty and instead giving him a life of peace and love ❤️”

Chanel Marie
Age: about 6 months old
Breed/Coat: domestic shorthair, Siamese, tortoiseshell
Health: Female
“Chanel Marie is a rare beauty; she is a pastel tortie-point Siamese kitten, just 4–6 months old, with the grace and charm of a little princess. Despite her delicate charm, her beginnings were anything but easy. She was found running from a large dog chasing her in the streets of a dangerous neighborhood — starving, scared, and heartbreakingly already pregnant at such a young age.
The moment she was rescued, Chanel Marie ran straight into loving arms, crying out for help. She rubbed her head against her rescuer, purred deeply, and showed that all she wanted was love and safety. Even after all she endured, her gentle spirit shines through — a rare treasure with a forgiving heart.
Chanel Marie deserves the happily-ever-after she has been waiting for — an indoor-only home where she can be cherished, pampered, and surrounded with comfort. She is ready to leave her difficult past behind and blossom into the beloved companion she was always meant to be.
💖 Could you be the one to give Chanel Marie her forever home?”
